Brand-New ISOFIX Compatible InfaSecure Kompressor II Luxury

Only a few months ago, the ACCC allowed ISOFIX to be a part of the Australian standard for car safety. Prior to this ISOFIX was only available overseas, but now most Australian car seat manufacturers have brought an ISOFIX seat to the market, except InfaSecure… until now.

While the Australian market was flooded with new ISOFIX compatible car seats, InfaSecure bided their time. As a result, the Kompressor II Luxury includes many features that other competitors are missing.

The Kompressor II Luxury is a new convertible car seat designed for use with children from birth through to approximately 4 years old. The entirely new design is the first InfaSecure child restraint to feature flexible ISOFIX compatible connectors. The Kompressor II Luxury features an all new shell design, new side wings and a taller backrest provide greater side impact protection, without compromising the Kompressor's famous narrow design; it's still compact enough to be installed 3 across and a short rearward facing depth makes it perfect for smaller vehicles where space is at a minimum.

Another major difference is how the car seat is fitted. The InfaSecure ISOFIX connectors feature a unique pull-loop release, which makes uninstalling the seat much easier than counter-intuitive push-to-pull button release connectors. Likewise, the flexible ISOFIX system allows for a correct fitment even in tight spaces. 

While it contains a tonne of new features, the Kompressor II Luxury still features many of the design qualities that have made Infasecure so popular. The whole range features the bright colours and swirl design, a narrow frame for smaller cars as well as superior protection around the head. However, the best feature of this seat is without a doubt the price. With a RRP of $449, the Kompressor II Luxury will be one of the cheapest ISOFIX compatible seats in Australia.
