Introducing Maxi-Cosi ISOGO
You may have heard of ISOFIX before, however you haven’t heard of ISOGO!
Revolutionising the way Australian parents fit car seats, Maxi-Cosi has launched their new Maxi-Cosi 'ISOGO', a first-to-market ISOFIX compatible car seat system which takes the guess work out of installing a car seat.
While there have been many advancements in car seat safety over the years, there has been no significant advancement in the most basic element – how to fit the car seat. Alarmingly, this means 88% of infant car seats are installed incorrectly, which can dramatically affect safety.
ISOFIX is an international standardised fitting system for attaching car seats securely without the need for the vehicle lap sash seatbelt. ISOFIX lower anchorage points are found in the back of the car, in the gap between the upholstery and have been available on imported cars for over 10 years but there hasn't been an Australian Standards approved ISOFIX compatible car seat available – until now.
Fitting a Maxi-Cosi ISOGO car seat is easy. Simply click your ISOGO car seat into your car's ISOFIX lower anchorage points and click the upper tether strap. You can then check the seat is correctly installed by making sure the harness tension colour indicator is green.
“Our family is always on the go, so it is wonderful to finally have a car seat that we can fit so quickly and be confident that it is properly fitted and secure,” says mother-of-two and Maxi-Cosi Ambassador, Rebecca Judd.
“Maxi-Cosi ISOGO has taken the guess work out of fitting our kids' car seats, and we now have greater flexibility should grandparents or friends wish to borrow a car seat for a special day out”.
The new Maxi-Cosi car seats featuring ISOGO are a breakthrough for busy parents wanting to ensure their children are as secure as possible whilst on the go.
