New Safe-N-Sound Compaq AHR Convertible Car Seat

Designed for the growing family, the new Safe N Sound Compaq AHR Convertible Car Seat is the perfect solution if you're looking for a slim line car seat to fit in a smaller car or if you have to accommodate 2 or 3 car seats for multiple children. This convertible car seat is suitable for children from birth to 12 months in the rearward facing position, then from 12 months to approximately 4 years of age in the forward facing position. 

The new Compaq AHR now has a slimmer base (44cm wide), which reduces the rear facing installed seat depth by 15mm making it ideal for cars that are smaller internally in width. Families with 3 children across the back seat (all in car seats) will especially benefit from the slim-line, compact design. The narrow external width allows for better access to seat belt buckles, enhancing correct car seat installation. Although it has shorter, slimmer external dimensions, the internal dimensions are wide and generous, without sacrificing your growing child’s comfort or safety. 

The new Safe N Sound Compaq AHR now features Safe N Sound’s unique Active Head Restraint (AHR), which protects your child’s head in a side impact crash. The addition of AHR increases energy absorption in a side impact crash by 25%.

Other key features include a new push button to adjust the Hassle Free Harness from the front of the seat. Unlike many other seats on the market in its class, the Hassle Free Harness means there is no need to take the car seat out of the car to rethread the harness, dramatically reducing the risk of installing the seat incorrectly.
